Components
- 180 grams of minced acem
- 180 grams of moist beef rib
- oil extracted from olives
- season with salt gradually to achieve the desired flavor
- season with ground pepper according to your preference
Ready state
- Take the meats out of the refrigerator 10 minutes prior to making the burgers, allowing them to become crispier when cooked in the Air Fryer.
- In a bowl, combine the ground meats using your hands. To shape the burgers, create a ball and gently flatten it without pressing too hard — over-compressing can make the burger less juicy. Use your hand to shape the edges so they hold their form — the patty should be roughly 2.5 cm thick.
- Using your finger, press the center of the burgers to create a small indentation—this helps them maintain their shape while cooking. Season both sides of the burgers with salt and ground pepper promptly—besides adding flavor, the salt also enhances the texture of the burgers.
- Set the Electrolux Air Fryer by Rita Lobo to 200°C and preheat it, then select the bake function for 10 minutes.
- Coat both sides of the burgers with olive oil. Arrange the hamburgers side by side in the Air Fryer basket, with the top side facing up. After half the cooking time (5 minutes), open the basket and flip the burgers using a spatula. Apply a bit more oil to the meat’s surface and allow them to finish cooking.
- Place the cooked burgers on a plate and allow them to rest for 2 minutes before serving, which helps the meat juices to redistribute, making them juicy. They are especially delicious when paired with blue cheese sauce.
