Components
  • 1 cup of frozen green corn (measured by tea cup)
  • 2 tablespoons of cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • A small pinch of cayenne pepper
  • Add ground pepper as desired.
  • 1 teaspoon of oil
Ready state
  1. Put the frozen corn in a bowl and heat it in the microwave in 30-second intervals until it’s just thawed. Then, pour the corn into a sieve and allow the water to drain completely — the drier it is, the crunchier it will become.
  1. Set the Electrolux air fryer by Rita Lobo to 180 °C and preheat it, then set it to bake for 15 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, combine the corn with starch, salt, and peppers. Pour in the oil and stir thoroughly.
  3. Arrange the corn evenly at the base of the Air Fryer basket and shut the drawer. Halfway through the cooking time, open the basket and use a spatula to stir the corn, loosening the kernels. Then, continue to open the basket and stir the corn every 2 minutes until it becomes golden and fluffy.
  4. Place the corn in a bowl and allow it to cool before serving, as it becomes crunchier when chilled.

Note: Corn stays crunchy when left at room temperature for up to 2 hours.
