Components
- 1 cup of frozen green corn (measured by tea cup)
- 2 tablespoons of cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- A small pinch of cayenne pepper
- Add ground pepper as desired.
- 1 teaspoon of oil
Ready state
- Put the frozen corn in a bowl and heat it in the microwave in 30-second intervals until it’s just thawed. Then, pour the corn into a sieve and allow the water to drain completely — the drier it is, the crunchier it will become.
- Set the Electrolux air fryer by Rita Lobo to 180 °C and preheat it, then set it to bake for 15 minutes.
- In a bowl, combine the corn with starch, salt, and peppers. Pour in the oil and stir thoroughly.
- Arrange the corn evenly at the base of the Air Fryer basket and shut the drawer. Halfway through the cooking time, open the basket and use a spatula to stir the corn, loosening the kernels. Then, continue to open the basket and stir the corn every 2 minutes until it becomes golden and fluffy.
- Place the corn in a bowl and allow it to cool before serving, as it becomes crunchier when chilled.
Note: Corn stays crunchy when left at room temperature for up to 2 hours.
