Components
- 350 g of pastry dough
- Half a ninja broccoli
- 1 cup (tea) of coarsely grated Shrewella cheese
- Two garlic cloves
- Two tablespoons of olive oil
- Half a teaspoon of salt
- black pepper, added gradually to achieve desired flavor
- oil used for blending pastels
Ready state
- Remove the thick stem of the broccoli, twist the top handle, and cut into large florets to make washing easier. Place them in a bowl, cover with water, rinse, and drain thoroughly.
- Peel and finely slice the garlic cloves. Break the broccoli florets into small chunks — the shape doesn’t need to be precise, as the goal is to create a pleasant sting to refresh afterwards.
- Heat a large frying pan with olive oil and garlic over medium heat. Sauté for 1 minute to release the aroma. Add the broccoli, seasoning with 1⁄2 teaspoon of salt and pepper to taste. Cook for approximately 5 minutes until tender. Move to a bowl and combine with grated cheese.
- To fill the pastels: cut the dough roll into sections measuring 7 cm by 12 cm. Put one tablespoon of the filling in the middle of each piece and lightly wet the dough edges with water using your fingertip. Fold the dough over and press gently to remove any air around the filling and seal the pastels. Use a fork to press the edges, being careful not to stick the dough together, ensuring the pastels stay closed during baking.
- Set the Electrolux air fryer by Rita Lobo to 200°C and preheat it, then bake for 25 minutes — the pastels will be ready in 6 minutes.
- Coat the pastels and the bottom of the Air Fryer basket with oil. Arrange 6 pastels (or as many as fit) side by side in the basket. Cook for approximately 6 minutes, or until they turn golden—no need to flip them halfway through.
- Take the golden pastels out of the Air Fryer and cook the remaining ones in the same way. Serve immediately.
Please provide the text you would like me to paraphrase.
You can fill the pastels the day before and store them in the refrigerator until ready to bake. To prevent the dough from drying out, arrange the stuffed pastels on a baking tray, cover them with plastic wrap directly on the surface, and place a damp cloth over it.
If you want to freeze them, place the pastels on a baking sheet in the freezer and once frozen, move them to your own food storage bag.
Frozen pastels are placed directly from the freezer into an Air Fryer preheated to 200 °C and cooked for approximately 6 minutes.
STRENGTH
These pastries can also be baked in the oven. Arrange them side by side on a large, oiled baking tray. Brush the pastries with oil and bake in a preheated oven at 220 °C for approximately 10 minutes, or until they turn golden brown.
