Components
- Approximately 1.5 kg of pork ribs (around 12 ribs).
- 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons of salt
- Add ground pepper as desired.
Setup phase
- Slice the rib into strips by positioning the knife directly between each rib bone, ensuring each piece has meat on both sides.
- Place the rib in a large bowl, season with salt and pepper to your liking; drizzle with olive oil and use your hands to thoroughly coat all the pieces. Let it sit at room temperature for 30 minutes to marinate and thaw.
- Set the Electrolux Rita Lobo 5-liter Air Fryer to 200°C and preheat it, then set the timer to bake for 30 minutes.
- Open the basket and put the whole rib inside — the slats will naturally overlap without any issues. Close the drawer and bake for 30 minutes. Note: every 10 minutes, open the basket and use tongs to turn the ribs, placing the more golden side down and the less cooked side up, ensuring they brown evenly. If some smaller or thinner slats become golden before the cooking is finished, you can remove them from the basket to prevent drying out.
- When the ribs have a golden color, a dry exterior, and tender, juicy meat, they are ready to be served.
NOTE: This recipe was created using Rita Lobo’s 5-liter Electrolux Air Fryer; if you have a different model with less capacity, cook the ribs in two batches.
